A new vacancy has arisen with a solicitors firm based near to Piccadilly tube station. They are a small practice with a range of fields of law, but looking specifically for a litigation solicitor to work on a locum basis handling a caseload of partnership disputes, bankruptcy and enforcement work. The usual value of their cases is up to £300-400k.

The firm are happy for someone to work from home – they have remote access to their network. May suit someone looking to establish themselves working from home as a freelancer. They would be keen for someone to commence assisting them with a start in the next 2 weeks. Ongoing work as and when it crops up. The firm operate a paperless office.

We came to their attention because one of the partners has worked with us on assignments in the past.

I anticipate the hourly rate will be £30-35 per hour. I doubt very much whether they will go higher (or will need to go higher).
