Commercial Contracts Solicitor and Corporate Solicitor – Remote Working – ongoing

Two new fully remote roles in today as follows:

  1. HR technology company planning to list on the AQUIS exchange in London. The process should take about 3 months and the company need a corporate lawyer to assist external company lawyers with preparing the documentation. Experience required as follows:
    IPO listing experience with AQUIS or AIM (essential requirement)
    Preparation of documentation including prospectus, minutes, etc
    Due diligence
    M&A transactions
    Post IPO, the intention is to build a significant business through M&A activity. Ideally the company would like the person to stay on and work in various transactions over the next two years to buy and build a global HR technology platform. It could result in ongoing full time work. The initial
    Ideally the right attributes for this person would be:
    High integrity and ethical person with a passion for corporate law and technology
    Highly curious and intelligent problem solver who sees the law as an enabler of choices rather than a problem.
    Interest in technology and reasonably competent in the use of MS Office 365 including use of MS Teams, Excel and Word

2., Cambridge company in the clinical research sector seek a commercial contracts solicitor. The company conducts clinical trials on behalf of large pharma, biotechs, government organisations etc. and have contracts with sponsors (master services agreements, statement of work, work orders), contracts with service providers, contracts with research sites to name a few. The company have the usual requirements of dealing with data privacy and data processing agreements. This will be an ad hoc arrangement – ie as and when needed to review contracts for the company. I suspect it will be less than 5 hours a week.
