A new vacancy has arisen with a medium sized practice based in Cumbria. They seek a locum in the Carlisle office to start the week commencing Monday 3rd November 2014. This should be for an initial minimum period of 1 month (working 5 days a week – may be some scope for less). Ideally, you need to have experience in commercial property investment acquisitions of a multi let building and also commercial property sales as well as commercial landlord and tenant matters. Although not essential, it would also assist if you had some experience of handling due diligence/disclosure exercise on corporate acquisitions as they need assistance on a corporate acquisition. You will also be asked to assist on some complex first registration work of unregistered titles. If possible they would also be interested in a locum who can assist with a bit of residential conveyancing if there is any overspill from that department.
