Company Commercial Interim Solicitor in Oxfordshire

A new vacancy has arisen with a small but specialist niche commercial practice based in Oxfordshire. This is the personal practice of a former senior partner with a large Reading firm who now undertakes company commercial work via his own company (and also handles a commercial property caseload for a related practice).

He is looking for a company commercial solicitor from a private practice background who can assist on an interim as follows:

1. Provide annual leave locum cover for Monday 21st May to Monday 11th June
2. Provide ongoing assistance on an ad hoc basis as and when needed.

He is very busy at the moment and would like to develop a relationship with someone able to give him capacity as and when required. He gave me a few examples of the sort of work he undertakes: sale of petrol station, sublease, share option scheme advice, share sales, commercial leases, partnership agreements, secondment agreement, sale of development site for housing, promotion agreement. Very mixed bag of general commercial work.

The firm is based equidistant from Oxford and Reading in a small village near Didcot, but you don’t need to be working from their office necessarily – from home would be fine.

Jonathan Fagan is a legal recruitment consultant for Interim Lawyers and Managing Director of Ten-Percent.co.uk Limited. "I have been recruiting solicitors and legal support staff for law firms and in house legal departments for over 16 years. I am a non-practising solicitor, on the Roll since June 2000, and also a director of the Ten-Percent Group of Legal Recruitment websites. I also regularly comment on legal recruitment via my blog http://www.legalrecruitment.blogspot.co.uk. Interim Lawyers is the specialist locum arm of the Ten-Percent group and we have over 700 locums on the books. We can usually keep our locums busy throughout the year, although it does very much depend on the market. Get in touch with me to register assignments or look for locum work."
