1. Hull – Employment – A new vacancy has arisen with a multi-disciplinary practice based in Hull – looking for an employment lawyer for a period of 3 months on a full time basis. No further details at this time but the start date is 21st November. VAC 15510.
2. Sussex – commercial property – A new vacancy has arisen with a local authority in Sussex. Looking for a commercial property locum for up to 3 months – appears to be a bit of commercial contracts work as well but as ever it is hard to tell with local authority positions.
Post has been advertised on Commensura (this is the managed service provider for around 5-6 of the larger national recruiters) but they have not managed to find anyone. If this sounds of interest, please let me know. Hourly rate is fixed at £32 an hour.
3. Mold – crime. A new vacancy has arisen with a solicitors firm based in Mold, about 10 miles from Chester. They need to recruit a crime solicitor with LAA supervisor status to cover maternity leave. Start date will be mid- to end-January 2015. Length will be 6-9-12 months – not yet certain. You can keep your duty solicitor slots at another practice to cover this work – they do not need the slots – just your time to cover their existing slots and crime work coming into the office.
