In House Commercial Lawyer in High Wycombe

A new vacancy has arisen with a large multinational company looking for urgent cover – assisting with commercial work – commercial law, contracts, terms and conditions. The company is looking for ‘someone who is happy with database management, admin and legal work – an all rounder who is happy to get stuck in.’

6 month contract to start. This is a large franchise contract management company.

The company is based in High Wycombe, about 400 metres from the train station.

List of work as follows:

” Reviewing, drafting and amending legal documents including contracts, terms and conditions etc.
” Reviewing and amending marketing and promotional material.
” Providing sound and tailored legal advice to all functions
” Assisting the In-House Lawyer to create and deliver legal training to internal stakeholders.
” Providing support and assistance to the In-House Lawyer.
” Responsible for own caseload and escalating any issues to the In-House Lawyer.
” Responsible for managing the whole contract management process
” Coordinate corporate governance requirements including assisting with board elections.
” Managing and updating various trackers and databases.
” Preparing reports based on information contained in the various trackers.
” Managing the GDPR process, including working closely with our Data Protection Officer to ensure GDPR compliance and dealing with data subject access requests.
” Various administrative tasks and duties common to an in-house legal department.
” Acting as the liaison between the company and the external lawyers.
” Supporting the various business units including, commercial, procurement and IT.
” Developing and growing strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
” Understanding and applying knowledge of the unique business model to legal work.
” Assisting the In-House Lawyer to successfully deliver new legal processes and policies.
” Responding to legal queries and requests for legal advice internally.
” Provide support and assistance within the wider Finance, Legal, Analytics and Governance team.
” Coordinating and managing corporate governance compliance requirements
