Locum Roles in today 3rd July 2017

Three new locum roles in today as follows:

1. A new vacancy has arisen with a small 4 solicitor practice in Swindon, looking for a residential conveyancing locum to join them on an ongoing basis (can be flexible to a certain extent around existing short term assignments). Situated about 1km from the station. Start date as and when you are able – the firm are busy hence the need.

2. A new vacancy has arisen with a solicitors firm in central London – nearest tube is Moorgate. They are looking for full time assistance from a company commercial locum potentially on an ongoing basis starting Monday 10th July.
The head of department has a lot of work ongoing and they want someone able to hit the ground running. The work is company commercial matters on behalf of SMEs – seems to be mainly commercial contract work – franchise agreements, partnership agreements, employment contracts, etc.. No M&A or ‘heavier’ company commercial work.
Not clear how long this one will go on for – indicated as ongoing at this stage.
No remote working possible on this one.

3. A new vacancy has arisen with a solicitors firm of medium size in central Leicester and looking for a conveyancer to cover a fairly large caseload. A conveyancer has just retired and the firm need locum cover until they can permanently recruit. The lawyer has been working on about 100 files so fairly busy.. Start date asap (Monday if possible) and ongoing as far as we know.
