A new vacancy has arisen with a UK charity located in London WC1. Looking to recruit for 2 maternity cover contracts (12 months) for their legal team.
You will be:
Reviewing and negotiating general commercial contracts
Managing and reporting compliance with trading principles/obligations
Managing external legal disputes, when required
Monitor new laws and regulations for implications
Take responsibility for ensuring that the charity and its subsidiaries comply with legal requirements
Support internal clients, providing legal advice across a range of subjects including IP, media, data protection and trademark enforcement.
Skills and Experience:
2- 4 years’ experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
Expertise in commercial law (essential)
Expertise in charity law (desirable)
Excellent academic credentials
Employment locum sought by Hertfordshire firm to cover until they recruit permanently. The work will be a full caseload of contentious employment tribunal claims. Firm are located about 1 mile from a mainline train station.
